Bridging the Gap: Intersectionality in Survivor-Informed Care

  • 6 Steps

About

Bridging the Gap: Intersectionality in Survivor-Informed Care is an online course for survivors, families, community members, and professionals who want to strengthen survivor-informed practice at the intersections of justice involvement, exploitation, and domestic/sexual violence. You’ll learn how power, identity, trauma, and systems impact safety, consent, access to care, and outcomes—then translate that learning into practical, consent-based communication and care plans. By the end, you will be able to recognize intersectional barriers, apply a survivor-informed lens to real scenarios, and design next-step actions for training, partnerships, or service improvements—supporting healing, leadership, and equitable community outcomes.
